Adriana Renteria

Regional Water Management Coordinator

Adriana joined the Community Water Center in 2017. As the Regional Water Management Coordinator, Adriana works to support efforts to increase access to safe and affordable water for disadvantaged communities in the Tulare Lake Basin. Adriana will be working with local water board leaders, Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs), and Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) groups to support regional planning efforts.

Adriana received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Economics from UC Santa Cruz. After graduating, Adriana worked at UC Santa Cruz’s American Indian Resource Center as the Coordinator for People of Color Sustainability Collective, hosting programming around environmental justice topics and highlighting the many diverse ways that communities of color have practiced sustainability. Born and raised in Merced, Adriana is excited to be back in the San Joaquin Valley.
