Anavel Valdez-Lupercio

Operations and Facilities Manager


Anavel_V._Lupercio_CWC_Web_Picture_6.jpgAnavel Valdez-Lupercio is the Operations and Facilities Manager for Community Water Center. She is primarily responsible for managing and implementing operations and administrative support for CWC’s program and organizational development work, as well as managing the facilities for both CWC’s Visalia and Sacramento offices. Anavel joined CWC in 2013 as a Program Associate, responsible for providing program support to assist in the development of regional solutions projects.

Anavel carries over ten years of experience as the administrative secretary of a private consulting firm, nonprofit organizations, and retired CEOs. She has demonstrated a history of reliability, accountability and responsibility.

Ms. Valdez-Lupercio has been trusted with several projects and departments based on her ability to take initiative and willingness to learn new skills. Her hard work and dedication are valuable assets that have been recognized and awarded throughout her career.

She considers herself to be very fortunate for having the opportunities to work alongside of great community leaders who have exposed her to a rich amount of projects throughout the years. She has learned to face barriers and challenges with tenacity – as taught by the great community leaders she considers her mentors.

Anavel has been part of several community-based groups and continues to stay involved as she enjoys being part of their good work. Her favorite project has been coordinating the local annual Farmworker Women’s Health, Safety, Education, and Environment Conference. This annual conference is dear to her heart because it provides access to health and relevant information to women who work in the fields.
