Community-driven water solutions through organizing, education, and advocacy

Caroline Knef

Water Programs Intern

IMG_4818.jpgCaroline began as an intern for the Community Water Center in September 2016. She is currently finishing her final year at UC Davis with a major in Environmental Sciences and Management. Caroline first began to pursue her interests for environmental protection and sustainability when she first joined the California Student Sustainability Coalition (CSSC) in 2013. As a member of this coalition, she continues to work towards stronger educational outreach and learning opportunities for her Davis community in the forms of school-wide conferences, and off-campus discussions. Caroline also joined a campaign called Fossil Free UC in the year of 2013, which focused on prompting the University of California to stop investing in the top 200 fossil fuel companies with the largest carbon reserves.

Caroline is passionate about solving the many issues surrounding water inequality within the state of California and beyond. She looks forward to learning more about this process and making a difference with the Community Water Center.
