Community Water Center (CWC) is looking to hire an experienced Community Organizer who is passionate for social and environmental justice and can manage and advance multiple community campaigns.
At CWC, we believe safe drinking water is a human right and should not be a privilege. CWC acts as a catalyst for community-driven water solutions through organizing, education and advocacy. We seek to build and enhance leadership capacity and local community power around water issues, create a regional movement for water justice in the Central Valley, and enable every community to have access to safe, clean and affordable drinking water. Based in Visalia, the Community Organizer (CO) will be a key member of the CWC’s program team, providing support in organizing and training for environmental justice campaigns around drinking water issues in low-income communities and communities of color.
If you are passionate about social and environmental justice, detailed oriented, able to manage and advance multiple community campaigns, work in a fast paced environment and have at least 2 years of experience organizing in local income communities of color in the region, please review our full job description HERE.
