Kayode Kadara Appointed to Tulare County Water Commission!

Allensworth resident and long-time community advocate Kayode Kadara was appointed to the Tulare County Water Commission on Tuesday! In addition to this new appointment, Kayode serves on the Allensworth School Board, the Tri-County Water Authority Board, the Deer Creek Storm Water Board and the board of directors of Self-Help Enterprises. Moreover, he has selflessly volunteered his time and expertise to help CWC develop our upcoming water board leadership program.

Community leaders like Kayode are essential in our movement to shape a healthier, more equitable and sustainable Central Valley. Please join us in congratulating Kayode and thanking him for his leadership!

Kayode's first meeting as a member of the Commission will be on Monday, July 11th, when he will join our co-director Susana De Anda as an at-large representative. The Tulare County Water Commission serves as an advisory body to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors and meets on the second Monday of the month at 3pm. Additional information on the Commission is available here: http://tularecounty.ca.gov/cao/index.cfm/water-commission/.
