On Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 5:30-8:00p.m. at the Visalia community art venue “210,” we will be hosting our annual Water Justice Celebration: Leaders in the Face of Drought.

We are thrilled to share that Martha Guzman-Aceves, Deputy Legislative Secretary in the Governor’s Office, will be joining us to recognize how far we have come toward the goal of securing safe water for all communities. Guests at the event will be treated to delicious Mexican food and music from Mariachi Juvenil Nueva Generación.

We are inviting the local community, members of the legislature, members of the state water board, state agency officials, and statewide environmental justice, health, human rights, labor, academic, legal, tribal, and faith-based organizations to the celebration.

See our events page to buy tickets. We hope you can join and celebrate with us!

Special thank you to our sponsors! Community Water Champions: California Water Service, The California Endowment; Community Water Leaders: Byers Accountancy, Sierra Health Foundation; Community Water Stars: AGUA Coalition, Cultiva la Salud, Fresno Regional Foundation, Kidd Accounting, Self-Help Enterprises, Rural Community Assistance Corporation; Community Water Supporters: Center on Race, Poverty, and the Environment, MVP Insurance, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom; Community Water Friends: Californians for Pesticide Reform, Fresno League of Women Voters.
