The CWC team has grown! We’re proud to introduce our two newest team members. Jonathan Nelson joins us as Policy Director and Pedro Ramirez joins us as Director of Organizing!

Jonathan, originally from Kern County, is an experienced lobbyist with a passion for social justice. He joins CWC in our Sacramento office to lead our policy advocacy efforts at the local, state, and regional level to secure access to safe, clean and affordable water and protect and restore sources of drinking water in local environmental justice communities in the San Joaquin Valley.

Pedro, who grew up in the Central Valley, knows community engagement well. He has been an advocate for immigrant rights and voting in underrepresented communities. Pedro will join our Visalia office to lead our organizing team and build community power for water justice in the San Joaquin Valley.

We are so excited to have them both on board! Together they will help us develop and implement policy and community organizing strategies to ensure all communities have safe, affordable water.
