Who is eligible to join a water board?

Who is eligible to join a water board? To run in an election for a Community Services District or a Public Utilities District in Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare Counties, you must meet these two requirements: 1) be a registered voter within the district you are running for, and 2) you cannot be on parole for a felony. That’s it!

¿Quién puede postularse para ser candidato en la mesa del agua? Para postularse como candidato a la Mesa Directiva Del Agua del “Community Services District” o “Public Utilities District” en los Condados de Fresno, Kern, Kings, y Tulare, es necesario que los candidatos estén: 1) Registrados para votar en el Distrito de la Mesa Directiva donde le corresponde, y 2) que no estén en libertad condicional por un delito grave.
