Vote for Water Justice 🗳️
A Special Message 🕊️
Water infrastructure being put in 🦺
Are you following us? 👀
Have you voted yet?
Tomorrow is Election Day. The people we elect help decide if our communities are heard, if those communities can drink from their tap, and whether families feel safe in their own communities, especially given recent ICE raids meant to intimidate our Latino Communities. This makes our vote a part of our social justice and water justice advocacy.
As we vote, we need to ask: What candidates are willing to fight for us? What candidates will support clean water? What ballot measures will help us get there?
From here, we need to make sure our vote gets counted! Find your polling place or ballot drop off location and make sure to track your ballot.
You have the right to vote safely and make your voice heard!
Dear Supporter,
At CWC, we mourn the loss of Dolores Huerta, a remarkable leader whose life and work helped shape California’s farmworker, civil rights, and social justice movements. Dolores dedicated her life to organizing communities, challenging injustice, and reminding us that ordinary people have the power to create extraordinary change. Her legacy is deeply connected to the work we do at CWC: building community power, advancing systemic change, and ensuring that the voices of communities too often overlooked are heard and respected.

Her words, “¡Sí, se puede!” remind us that meaningful change is possible when people come together, organize, and refuse to give up on one another. She was a strong ally and we strive to honor the spirit of her lucha through our work, thankful for all she helped make possible.

New Construction Milestone in the Central Coast
The latest construction is complete in the PSMS Drinking Water Project.
Pipes are now in the ground across all the Pajaro, Sunny Mesa, Springfield-area (PSMS) Drinking Water Project area: Struve Road, Springfield, and the mobile home park, and Phase 1 is officially complete!
With infrastructure in place, the next step is connecting the homes to the installed lateral pipes so clean water can flow through taps. Construction is on track and the project should be complete by spring of 2027!
It is powerful to see what is possible when communities rally to advocate for resources and when programs like SAFER are ready to close the gaps in funding. This community is so close to safe drinking water, and CWC is working to keep the momentum going for communities across the Central Coast and the San Joaquin Valley.
